Es prohibido a todo individuo nacional o extranjero que no tenga los correspondientes títulos o licencias de que trata el presente Decreto, anunciarse como optómetra, en periódicos, carteles murales, hojas sueltas, etc., etc. También es prohibido a los optómetras licenciados anunciarse públicamente atribuyéndose títulos o méritos distintos a los que legalmente poseen y prometer curaciones imposibles de realizar por medio de la optometría.
