El Comando General de las Fuerzas Militares dispondrá un mecanismo interno, para que a solicitud de la Policía Nacional, se autorice el uso de la fuerza militar contra las bandas criminales cuando su nivel de hostilidad y organización así lo amerite. En todo caso, los Comandantes Militares y de Policía en la respectiva jurisdicción, deberán coordinar el tipo de apoyo.
