Para el solo efecto de los procedimientos legales en que deben intervenir ciertos funcionarios municipales que no existen en los corregimientos Intendenciales o Comisariales, tales como el Presidente y los Secretarios de los Concejos y los Personeros, establécense en dichos Corregimientos las siguientes equivalencias: el Corregidor sustituye al Alcalde, el Presidente de la Junta Administradora, al Presidente del Concejo y al Personero; y el Secretario de la misma Junta, al del Concejo Municipal.
