De conformidad con las normas estatutarias y legales correspondientes, la Nación y las entidades del sector agropecuario del orden nacional, dejarán de participar en las corporaciones o centrales de abastos y en la Empresa Colombiana de Productos Veterinarios S.A., VECOL S.A., dentro de un plazo no mayor al 31 de diciembre de 1994. Este plazo se extenderá hasta el 31 de diciembre de 1996 para las corporaciones o centrales de abastos que aún estén en proceso de construcción.
