La reclusión, la prisión y el arresto militar, el destino a una Compañía disciplinaria y la suspensión del destino militar son penas temporales, cuya duración es la siguiente:

Reclusión militar: de uno a veinticinco años; Prisión militar: de un mes a seis años;

Arresto militar: un día a diez y ocho meses;

Destino a una Compañía disciplinaria: de tres meses a dos años;

Suspensión del destino militar: el tiempo de duración de la pena principal.
