Examen de ingreso. Para efectos de tomar un plan voluntario de salud la entidad oferente podrá practicar un examen de ingreso, previo consentimiento del contratista, con el objeto establecer en forma media el estado de salud de un individuo, para encauzar las políticas de prevención y promoción de la salud que tenga la institución respectiva y de excluir algunas patologías existentes.

Parágrafo

Las entidades habilitadas para ofrecer planes voluntarios de salud no podrán incluir como preexistencias al tiempo de la renovación del contrato, enfermedades, malformaciones o afecciones diferentes a las que se padecían antes de la fecha de celebración del contrato inicial, de conformidad con los artículos 2.2.4.1.17, 2.2.4.1.18 y 2.2.4.1.19.
