º . Fondo Nacional de Pensiones de las Entidades Territoriales. El Fondo Nacional de Pensiones de las Entidades Territoriales, FONPET, creado por el artículo 3º de la Ley 549 de 1999 es un fondo sin personería jurídica, administrado por el Ministerio de Hacienda y Crédito Público. El FONPET tendrá por objeto recaudar de la Nación y de las entidades territoriales los recursos definidos en la Ley 549, asignarlos en las cuentas respectivas, y administrarlos a través de patrimonios autónomos en los términos del presente decreto.
