La responsabilidad de verificación de condiciones de transporte, y de garantizar las condiciones de bienestar de los animales rescatados o decomisados, así como coordinar todo lo relacionado con su recepción en destino y garantizar su rehabilitación y/o posterior liberación, recaerá sobre la autoridad ambiental y entidad que realice el rescate y/o en decomiso de los animales respectivos, hasta que se realice su debida transferencia material a otra autoridad ambiental para continuar con su proceso.
