Cuando el sueldo o salario no exceda de dos mil cuatrocientos pesos ( $ 2.400) anuales, el empleado u obrero respectivo , deberá ser asegurado por una suma equivalente a la remuneración de que disfrute computada en un año. Si el sueldo o salario dos mil cuatrocientos pesos ($ 2.400) anuales sin pasa de cuatro mil doscientos pesos ($ 4.200) anuales, el empleado u obrero será asegurado por la suma de dos mil quinientos pesos ($ 2.500)
