Los Administradores de los lazaretos ejercerán las funciones necesarias para poder despachar las comisiones que les confieran las autoridades judiciales en relación con las personas sanas residentes en los lazaretos. En el desempeño de estas funciones pueden dichos Administradores ser reemplazados por Agentes de la Policía Judicial Nacional, si la respectiva autoridad lo estima conveniente.
