Ley 30 de 1886 · Que crea Juntas de Higiene en la capital de la República y en las de los Departamentos o ciudades principales

Art 1° Poder Ejecutivo, con el objeto de obtener los datos científicos necesarios para resolver las cuestiones que se rocen con la salubridad pública, establecerá una Junta de Higiene Central, residente en la capital de la República, y Juntas departamentales de Higiene, residentes en las capitales de los departamentos o en sus ciudades principales.

Exceptuase de esta disposición el Departamento de Cundinamarca, en el que la Junta Central desempeñara las funciones de Junta Departamental.
