Para efectos de clasificación se establecen las siguientes categorías toxicológicas de los plaguicidas, ya sea en su formulación o en uno de sus componentes: Categoría I “Extremadamente tóxicos”. Categoría II “Altamente tóxicos”. Categoría III “Medianamente tóxicos”. Categoría IV “Ligeramente tóxicos”.
