Art. 2.° Como recuerdo de gratitud, y el homenaje al mérito del General Valderrama, su retrato, al óleo, costeado del Tesoro nacional, será colocado en el salón de sesiones de la Cámara de Representantes con esta inscripción:

"Al ilustre patriota, General Antonio Valderrama-El Congreso de 1888."
