En los eventos de decomiso preventivo en los cuales la autoridad ambiental no cuente con las instalaciones, infraestructura o equipos necesarios para mantener en forma adecuada los individuos o especímenes de fauna y flora silvestres utilizados en la comisión de la infracción ambiental, se procederá a ubicarlos provisionalmente en Centros de Atención y Valoración, CAV, hogares de paso, zoológicos, jardines botánicos u otros sitios aptos para tal efecto.
