En la cabecera de cada Circuito que no sea cabecera de Distrito Judicial, el Personero municipal llevará ante los Juzgados del Circuito la vez del Ministerio Público en los asuntos administrativos u juicios de jurisdicción voluntaria en que intervenían los Fiscales de Circuito, que quedaron suprimidos. En cuanto a los asuntos criminales, los jueces y demás funcionarios se abstendrán de dar participación al Ministerio Público.
