Sin perjuicio de los servicios que presta la Caja Nacional de Previsión, el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores, directamente o a través de su Fondo Rotatorio, podrá contratar seguros integrales de salud, médico y hospitalarios que cobijen a los funcionarios del servicio exterior, su cónyuge y sus hijos menores.
