ARTICULO 229 . Decisión del recurso . Cuando la Corte aceptare como demostrada alguna de las causales propuestas, procederá así

Si la causal aceptada fuere la primera, la segunda o la de nulidad cuando ésta afecte exclusivamente la sentencia impugnada, casará el fallo y dictará el que deba reemplazarlo.

Si la causal aceptada fuere la tercera, salvo la situación a que se refiere el numeral anterior, declarará en qué estado queda el proceso y dispondrá que se envíe al funcionario competente para que proceda de acuerdo a lo resuelto por la Corte.
