Prueba para compensación por muerte. Para comprobar las circunstancias de modo, tiempo y lugar de la muerte de un oficial o suboficial de las Fuerzas Militares, para efecto de los artículos 142, 143, 144 y 145 del Decreto 2337 de 1971, el Comandante respectivo de la Unidad o Repartición ordenará una investigación administrativa, breve y sumaria, la cual deberá ser conceptuada por éste y por su respectivo superior, sobre las mencionadas circunstancias y luego la enviará para ser anexada al expediente por prestaciones sociales.
