Los Prefectos, Alcaldes y Personeros Municipales quedan encargados de velar por el cumplimiento de esta Ley, y procederán de oficio, esto es, sin necesidad de denuncio previo contra los que violaren sus disposiciones.

Parágrafo

La autoridad que no cumpla con lo establecido en este artículo incurrirá en una multa de $ 10 por la primera vez, $ 20 por la segunda, y pérdida del empleo en caso de nueva residencia.
