Definición. La Policía Cívica Juvenil hace parte de la Policía Cívica, se encarga de apoyar las funciones preventiva, educativa y social que cumple la Policía Nacional relacionadas con la población infantil y juvenil residente en el territorio nacional.

Parágrafo

El objeto fundamental de la Policía Cívica Juvenil es crear en la conciencia del futuro ciudadano la noción de respeto por los derechos ajenos, la defensa de los suyos, acrecentar el espíritu cívico y consolidar sentimientos de solidaridad.
