Los trabajadores oficiales que sean desvinculados como consecuencia de la supresión del cargo y que no tuvieren derecho a la pensión prevista en las leyes o convenciones vigentes sobre la materia y en las que se expidan en virtud de las facultades de la Ley 21 de 1988, podrán optar entre la vinculación que se les ofrezca y la indemnización que les sea aplicable en virtud de la misma ley.
