Art 408. El notario ante quien se otorgue una escritura de legitimación de un hijo, conforme al Código Civil, estenderá i firmará un acta en el rejistro de legitimaciones en que se exprese: la fecha de la escritura, nombre de los otorgantes, nombre del hijo lejitimado, su edad i lugar donde nació, i nombre de los testigos instrumentales de la escritura.

A la márjen de la partida de nacimiento del lejitimado se pondrá una nota citando la escritura de lejitimación.

Si el nacimiento del lejitimado fue inscrito en otra Notaría diferente de la en que se otorga la lejitimación, el Notario que autoriza ésta, dará aviso a aquél donde está rejistrado el nacimiento, para que se anote tal partida en los términos del inciso anterior.
