º. El artículo 8º del Decreto 1229 de 1972 quedará así: Para la cuenta de Ahorre de Valor Constante, las Corporaciones de Ahorro y Vivienda reconocerán ua tasa de interés efectiva del cinco por ciento (5%) anual, sobre el saldo diario expresado en Unidades de Poder Adquisitivo Constante (UPAC), siempre y cuando la respectiva cuenta tenga un saldo diario igual o superior a 2 Unidades de Poder Adquisitivo Constante (UPAC).

Parágrafo

La- tasa de interés de que trata el presente artículo se acreditará periódicamente en la respectiva cuenta, pero en ningún caso en períodos superiores a tres (3) meses calendarios.
