La Defensoría del Consumidor Financiero y las entidades vigiladas, deberán garantizar que se atienda en forma eficaz, eficiente y oportuna a los consumidores financieros de todas las zonas del país en las cuales la entidad vigilada preste sus servicios. La Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia impartirá las instrucciones para el cumplimiento de este deber.
