Si la obra fuere impresa, presentará tres ejemplares de ella, así:

Uno a la Biblioteca Nacional; uno a la Biblioteca de la Universidad Nacional, y otro, acompañado de los recibos de las dos primeras y de la solicitud de inscripción, al registro de propiedad intelectual. Si la edición fuere de lujo o no excediere de cien ejemplares, bastará con presentar un ejemplar, el que deberá quedar en el Registro.

El Registrador no tramitará ninguna solicitud de inscripción de obra publicada, sin la previa constancia de haberse presentado el número de ejemplares determinados en el inciso anterior.
