El Ministerio de Minas y Energía directamente o por delegación o comisión a otras entidades o a las autoridades regionales o locales, ordenará la correspondiente investigación para verificar la violación de la medida o las omisiones constitutivas de infracción a las normas sobre seguridad. En caso de delegación o comisión, una vez verificados los hechos se enviará el expediente al Ministerio.
