Limite de permanencia en el escalafón complementarlo . El Oficial o Suboficial inscrito en el escalafón complementario, no podrá sobrepasar los treinta y cinco (35) años de servicio efectivo en la Policía Nacional. Su permanencia en este escalafón no podrá ser inferior a dos (2) años para pasar al retiro a solicitud propia.

Parágrafo

Lo anterior no obsta para que el Oficial o Suboficial inscrito en el escalafón complementario pueda ser retirado del servicio activo en cualquier época, por llamamiento a calificar servicios, por voluntad del Gobierno o de la Dirección General, según el caso, por disminución de la capacidad sicofisica para la actividad policial, por incapacidad profesional, por inasistencia al servicio por más de diez (10) días, sin causa justificada o por conducta deficiente.
