Las reservas presupuestales constituidas por los órganos que conforman el Presupuesto General de la Nación que no se ejecuten durante el año de su constitución fenecerán. Si durante el año de su constitución se cancelan reservas por desaparecer el compromiso que las originó, se elaborará un acta suscrita por el ordenador del gasto y el jefe de presupuesto o quien haga sus veces, y se comunicará a la Dirección General del Presupuesto Nacional para el ajuste respectivo en el PAC.
