La Dirección de Ganadería hará examinar e invigilar, por medio de los Inspectores de su dependencia, todos y cada uno de los animales de carne alimenticia destinados al matadero, antes de permitir su entrada a un establecimiento sujeto a inspección. Los que manifiesten síntomas de enfermedades serán excluidos y manejados por separado y sometidos a exámenes y cuidados rigurosos para los efectos de los artículos 5º y 7º de la presente Ley.
