La presente ley tiene por objeto que el Gobierno nacional, a través del Ministerio de Industria, Comercio y Turismo y del Ministerio de Hacienda y Crédito Público, rindan informe anual sobre los impactos (negativos y positivos) en materia macroeconómica y de los distintos sectores económicos involucrados, de los Tratados de Libre Comercio (TLC), ratificados por Colombia, e informar sobre el estado de la balanza comercial de Colombia con los países con los cuales se tienen estos Acuerdos Comerciales.
