Articulo 47 . Los deportistas, dirigentes, personal técnico, auxiliar, científico y de juzgamiento, seleccionados para representar al país en competiciones o eventos deportivos Internacionales, cuando sean empleados públicos o trabajadores oficiales, o servidores del sector privado, tendrán derecho a licencia remunerada para asistir a los misinos.

Parágrafo

El Instituto Colombiano de la Juventud y el Deporte (Coldeportes) solicitará a los empleadores respectivas el otorgamiento de esta prerrogativa para los trabajadores que se encuentren en las circunstancias previstas por él presente artículo, haciendo la expresa manifestación- sobre el hecho de la escogencia con indicación del tiempo requerido para asistir al evento.
