Actuación del agente marítimo . De conformidad con lo previsto en el artículo 1492 del Código de Comercio, cuando el Agente Marítimo actúe como representante del transportador en Colombia, deberá cumplir con las obligaciones establecidas para este en los diferentes regímenes aduaneros, y por lo tanto su incumplimiento generará la aplicación de las sanciones previstas para los transportadores en el presente decreto.
