El Instituto dictará periódicamente planes generales de inversiones del seguro social, consultando previamente la opinión y los proyectos de las Juntas Directivas de las Cajas Seccionales. Tales planes comprenderán un número prudencial de años, y contendrán las bases generales para su financiación y desarrollo, así como las proporciones correspondientes a cada clase de inversiones.
