Vendida alguna cosa del marido o de la mujer, la sociedad deberá el precio al cónyuge vendedor, salvo en cuanto dicho precio se haya invertido en la subrogación de que habla el artículo 1789, o en otro negocio personal del cónyuge de quien era la cosa vendida, como en el pago de sus deudas personales, o en el establecimiento de sus descendientes de un matrimonio anterior.
