A partir de la vigencia de la presente ley, el Gobierno Nacional incluirá en el presupuesto anual de cada vigencia una suma no menor de siete millones quinientos mil pesos ($7.500.000.00) moneda corriente, con el objeto de que la Asociación Colombiana de Universidades -ASCUN-, pueda realizar sus objetivos y cumplir eficazmente su importante labor de coordinar la actividad académica, administrativa y de bienestar social entre las distintas Universidades que funcionan en el país.
