El derecho al aseguro de que trata la presente Ley no podrá ser renunciado ni cedido por el asegurado, ni cambiado el beneficiario cuando estén designados como tales la mujer o los hijos, salvo que aquella haya dado lugar al divorcio o éstos se encuentren en algunos de los casos previstos en el artículo 1266 del Código Civil.
