De conformidad con lo dispuesto en el artículo 1° de la Ley 7ª de 1944, la "Convención de las Naciones Unidas contra la Corrupción", adoptada por la Asamblea General de las Naciones Unidas, en Nueva York, el 31 de octubre de 2003, que por el artículo primero de esta ley se aprueba, obligará al país a partir de la fecha en que se perfeccione el vínculo internacional respecto de la misma.
