Art. 2.° Si las esploraciones dichas hubieren de hacerse por algun gobierno estrajjero en territorio habitado por tribus salvajes, la espedicion esploradora podrá ser protejida por tropas del Gobierno colombiano; i en este caso, como en cualquiera otro en que las esploraciones se intenten por un gobierno estranjero, tendrá el Poder Ejecutivo la facultad de permitir la estacion, en puertos de la República, de buques de guerra del gobierno por el cual, o bajo cuyos auspicios, la esploracion haya de efectuarse.
