La restauración y conservación del templo del Rosario de Cúcuta y del parque correspondiente estarán bajo la dirección de la Academia Colombiana de Historia, en colaboración con el Centro de Historia del Norte de Santander, y la vigilancia de los trabajos será ejercida por las autoridades del Municipio del Rosario.
