La Nación se asocia al duelo causado por la muerte del doctor Antonio Gómez Restrepo, colombiano que durante su meritoria existencia dio brillo a la República como Profesor de copiosa humanística; como diplomático de gran prestancia y decoro; como crítico literario, que ocupó la más alta jerarquía entre sus coetáneos; como poeta de alta inspiración; como Senador y Representante, y como ciudadanos de relevantes virtudes públicas y privadas.
