Art. 7. Seguirán su curso todos los juicios criminales iniciados o que en lo sucesivo se iniciaren; pero esos juicios se suspenderán, a petición del reo o su defensor, en cualquier estado en que se hallaren, si el reo estuviere preso, y solo durante el término probatorio de la causa, en los demás casos.
