Solicitud de practicaje marítimo. El servicio público de practicaje deberá ser solicitado directamente por el Capitán del buque o en su defecto por el armador de éste, o el Agente Marítimo, con el fin que se coordine la prestación eficiente y oportuna del servicio.

Tratándose de buques de guerra de las Armadas extranjeras, además de lo anterior, se debe cumplir con lo establecido en numeral 4 del artículo 173 o en su defecto con el numeral 7 del artículo 189 de la Constitución Política, si a ello hay lugar.
