En las ciudades de Bogotá y Popayán se levantarán sendas estatuas en bronce de Valencia, en cuyo pedestal se grabará esta inscripción:

"La Republica de Colombia a Guillermo Valencia"

Retratos al óleo serán colocados en el Salón Central del Capitolio y en el salón del Concejo Municipal de Popayán.
