La incorporación adicional de policía, a que se refiere este capítulo será sin perjuicio de la prestación del servicio que corresponde a la Policía Nacional en los municipios y en el territorio de la República. En ningún caso se podrá disminuir el pie de fuerza asignado antes de la contratación en el respectivo municipio.
