Los exámenes para ascenso a la categoría Avanzada constarán de una parte teórica y otra práctica. La parte teórica, constará de los siguientes temas y porcentajes: Cultura general 10% Normas de operación 15% Electricidad, electrónica y antenas 25% Normas y reglamentos nacionales e internacionales 10% Código morse y otras técnicas de operación 40%

Parágrafo

La parte práctica será la certificación por parte de Ligas o Asociaciones nacionales e internacionales, de su participación activa en diez (10) concursos de carácter nacional y cinco (5) de carácter internacional.
