División de Policía Vial. - Corresponde a la División de la Policía Vial, planear, coordinar y ejecutar las operaciones policiales, encaminadas a la seguridad del tránsito y transporte en las carreteras del país y a la prevención de los delitos y contravenciones en las áreas bajo su control.
