La pesca en aguas jurisdiccionales colombianas, podrá llevarse a cabo con embarcaciones de bandera colombiana, o de bandera extranjera cuando hayan sido contratadas por empresas pesqueras colombianas que destinen parte de su producción al abastecimiento interno del país, en la proporción que señale el INPA. El producto de la pesca deberá descargarse en puertos colombianos.
