La renovación de la matrícula del comerciante, persona natural o jurídica, y la de sus establecimientos de comercio, agencias o sucursales, se entenderán realizadas desde el momento en que se entregue el formulario firmado, sin errores y debidamente diligenciado en la cámara de comercio y se reciba el valor correspondiente a la tarifa. Cuando la renovación de la matrícula se haga a través del RUES, las cámaras de comercio receptoras deberán enviar por ese mismo medio a la cámara competente y, a más tardar al día hábil siguiente de la recepción, la documentación recibida. En el caso de personas jurídicas, la matrícula se efectuará cuando el documento de constitución sea inscrito en el Registro Mercantil.
