Art. 23. La cuenta de Caja representará siempre el movimiento de todos los valores que en dinero efectivo ingresen o egresen. Su saldo, si lo hubiere, deberá hallarse en el débito i consistirá en todo caso, en dinero sonante, de conformidad con lo dispuesto en el artículo 124 de la lei de 4 de julio de 1866, orgánica de Hacienda.
