Laboratorios De Salud Pública Departamentales O Distritales

°. Laboratorios de salud pública departamentales o distritales. Los Laboratorios de Salud Pública en su carácter de organismos de apoyo a la función de vigilancia y control en salud pública a cargo del Estado, podrán continuar funcionando como dependencia del organismo de Dirección de Salud o conforme con la naturaleza jurídica que se le haya asignado en el orden departamental o distrital.

Parágrafo 1

Los laboratorios de las Instituciones Prestadoras de Servicios de Salud, IPS, del Sistema General de Seguridad Social en Salud no se consideran como Laboratorios de Salud Pública.

Parágrafo 2

Tampoco se consideran como Laboratorios de Salud Pública, los laboratorios de las Instituciones Prestadoras de Servicios de Salud, IPS, que no forman parte del SGSSS.
